I like setting the table for occasions. The above is for
dinner with our friends from the west. It does look nice with a bit of layering
(I look up the net for inspiration quite often). However, my food will not
always be served in that order of the setting (it rarely is) and most of the
time I do not bother with it (layering). With this kind of setting, I have to make sure
that the guests see it before I remove the top layers – what will be the point
otherwise?
