Last week we shouted a cosy dinner at Two Fifteen for our dear friends, Marcus and Tracey who will be getting married
today (NZ Time) in Rarotonga . At Two
Fifteen, we normally have several dishes of starters and maybe one main. It’s just like tapas that you can share and have a bit of (almost) everything.
We started with a plate of House Cured Meats,
warm bread and Smoked Butter. The following 2 dishes were gone before I
could think about taking photos (btw, they were Cold Smoked Salmon and Rocket Salad
with Cheddar) and then we had Flash Fried Squid (my fav) and Rabbit Terrine
(Bob’s Fav).
And of course, Jeremy’s signature dish, Poached
Eggs and Air Dried Beef. You haven’t really been to this bistro if you haven’t had
this dish. You can happily have poached eggs for dinner – no doubt about it, trust me!
We rounded it off nicely with these desserts:
Blackberry Crumbles with Ice Cream, Chocolate Delice with Cassis Sorbet, Italian
Fritoles with Lemon Curd and Coffee Crème Brulee with Cinnamon Puffs.
Happy Wedding Marcus & Trace.
